Frederick Grossman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in Pain Management and outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with addiction to pain medications. Dr. Grossman also has tremendous experience evaluating patient suitability for interventional medical procedures. In addition to his practice in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Grossman travels throughout the region and the country to offer his services to those in need, and he is widely respected for his knowledge of the psychology of pain and pain management. Dr. Grossman has helped thousands of people suffering from chronic pain, many of whom have been able to resume happy, healthy lives. 

Dr. Grossman believes that the successful treatment of pain is based on the individual. Therefore, Dr. Grossman's treatment protocol is individualized. Dr. Grossman works in collaboration with other treatment professionals, as well as the patient, to create a treatment plan which is based on a detailed physiological and psychological understanding of the patient.

Working with people with chronic pain using pain management techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy. Consulting to several pain clinics in Kansas City and Portland. Assessing and evaluating patients for implant procedures.

June 1980 - Present: Frederick D. Grossman, PhD Clinical Psychologist. 
Psychological practice working with adults, marriages, and families regarding personality disorders, neurotic and psychotic problems.

Traveled throughout the country doing managerial consulting for Fortune 500 companies.
