Frederick D Grossman, PhD; Clinical Director

Frederick Grossman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over forty years of clinical experience. He specializes in Pain Management and outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with addiction to pain medications. Dr. Grossman also has tremendous experience evaluating patient suitability for interventional medical procedures. Dr. Grossman is widely respected for his knowledge of the psychology of pain and pain management. As our clinical director, Dr. Grossman is involved in the evaluation and treatment of all of our clients.

Dennis Kurtz, PsyD; Psychologist Resident

Dr. Kurtz recently completed his doctoral training and is currently serving as a Psychologist Resident in Oregon (R376) under the supervision of Dr. Grossman. Dr. Kurtz completed his clinical doctoral training as an intern at the VA medical center in Spokane, WA, where he received training in various aspects of health service psychology. Clinical rotations included general mental health treatment/assessment, Chronic Pain,  PTSD clinical team, and acute psychiatric unit.

Erica Grossman, LPC; Director of Professional Relations, Staff Counselor

Erica holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University. Erica loves working with people, and she is our primary liaison for other providers’ offices as well as clients. Erica also provides counseling services as well as administering psychological tests and conducting structured interviews with clients. 

Melanie Carr; Administrative Office Manager

Melanie is our primary administrative agent and serves as our scheduling and referral coordinator. She is responsible for managing incoming referrals and supervising our intake and scheduling process. She also handles insurance authorizations.
